Integrate MedView eRx Q with your Dispensing Software

eRx Q Link is a small program that runs in the background on your dispensing terminal, to enable you to push scripts from eRx Q to your dispensing software. To set up this integration, first install eRx Q Link on your main dispensing terminal, then enter that computer name in the MedView eRx Q app.

Download and install eRx Q Link

If you already have an older version of eRx Q Link (formerly called eRx Express Link), make sure you install the new version on the same dispensing terminal.

1. On your main dispensing terminal, open a web browser and log into MedView eRx Q.
2. Select the User Account menu (top right).
3. Select About.
   
   
   
   The About window is displayed.
   
   
4. Select Get eRx Q Link.
   
   
5. Select your dispensing software.
   
   
   
   The eRx Q Link installer is downloaded to your default downloads folder.
   
   
6. Launch the installer, confirm that you accept the license agreement, then click Install.
   
7. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Enter the name of the computer with eRx Q Link installed

1. In the eRx Q App, select the User Account menu, then select Settings.
   
   
2. On the Settings screen, enter the name of the computer with eRx Q Link installed.
   
3. Click Test.
• If eRx Q link is installed, a green notification toast is displayed.
  
• If eRx q link is not installed, an information window is displayed. Here, you can Download and install eRx Q Link for your dispensing software.
