New in this release

My Script List is available in all States and Territories.

IN - Patient details

In MedView Flow, Search is now used to search for patient and scan in (or manually enter) ePrescriptions.

In both cases, the patient data is retrieved from Dispense.

  • If the patient does not exist in Dispense, the patient data is displayed as found on the script and a message is displayed: This patient does not exist in Dispense.

  • If the patient is found in Dispense and is also registered for MySL, the MySL primary consent contact (email address, mobile phone number) information is displayed.

MySL - Status check after patient update

After registering a new patient for MySL or updating their MySL details using MySL Edit Patient form , MedView Flow automatically updates the MySL Status button to reflect the patient's registration status.

If your editing of the patient details causes the registration to become invalid, return to Dispense and ensure the main patient demographics are correct.

MySL - Launch from Dispense

With this release, you will now be able to select the MySL button in Dispense to automatically launch the patient's MySL in MedView Flow in a separate browser.

After searching for a patient in Dispense, a MySL indicator displays the status of the selected patient's MySL.

If the patient is registered for MySL and has consented to the pharmacy accessing their list, you can select the green MySL indicator to open the patient's MySL within Dispense, then select the relevant medicines and add them to the dispense Queue.

MySL - Date format in Dispense Patients

When creating or updating a Dispense Patient from MedView Flow, the Date of birth field is now correctly formatted as YYYY if it is entered as YY.

Previously, any DOB from 2000 onwards, and entered as 00 was not re-formatted, and the Dispense Patient forms were displaying an error.

IN - Network performance

Performance improvements have been applied in order to ensure that you can still scan in ePrescriptions and create baskets, even when experiencing poor network performance.

Previously, under such circumstances, new ePrescriptions would fail to load in the IN column, and the application would eventually shut down.

MedView Patient Connect (MPC) - Pharmacy Search

When searching for a pharmacy by postcode, the search results return all the pharmacies within this postcode. Previously, the search results were incorrectly limited to 20 entries. This issue has now been resolved.
