Baskets - Multiple Scripts

If there are more than five scripts in a basket, you can now use the left and right arrows ( and ) to scroll horizontally.

SETTINGS - New look for Settings

A new icon displays on the menu for changing the MedView Flow settings.

Clicking the icon enables you to change the settings for:

  • MedView Patient Connect

    After you make changes to your settings, select the Save icon at the top to save your changes.

  • Terminal Settings

    After you make changes to your settings, select the Save icon at the top to save your changes.

    For more information, see Configure the Terminal Settings.

IN - Updated wording and help for Missing IHI

If a patient's Individual Health Identifier (IHI) is missing, an IHI Missing message displays with a link to a help article about IHI Validation. Previously the message displayed IHI Error and did not provide additional information.

ePrescription tokens - New button helps patients order scripts remotely

ePrescription tokens now include a button to help patients order their prescriptions remotely.

This option should help both you and your patient send through scripts to your pharmacy in those remote situations. When the patient taps the green button, two options for getting their prescription dispensed are displayed:

  • Present your electronic prescription in person.

  • Manage your electronic prescriptions remotely. Choosing this provides further options for patients to order prescriptions from their chosen pharmacy and arrange for either pickup or delivery. Various apps and services are listed including MedView Patient Connect.

IN - Clearing the search after a scan error

After scanning a script which cannot be retrieved, then clearing the search in order to search by patient name, the scanning error message is removed.

MySL - Patient consent status

Upon re-opening a patient's MySL Patient Registration Form to view or update the patient's details, the Consent settings are retained. Previously, these had been incorrectly turned off.

Queue - Generics preference for manually entered scripts

Manually entered scripts now display the patient's Generics preference and notes recorded at Scripts In.
